Why this matters now

The deadline is final

SCE will not accept new claims after November 30, 2026. If you don’t file in time, you lose the chance to receive an offer through the program.

Accepting is final too

To be paid, you sign a notarized settlement agreement that gives up your right to sue SCE over the fire. Know what your claim is worth before you sign.

Attorney fees are built in

If you are represented by an attorney when your claim is submitted, SCE adds 20% to the net damages portion of its offer for attorney fees. Ask us how this applies to your claim.

What the program can cover

  • Your home
  • Personal belongings
  • Living expenses while displaced
  • Smoke, soot & ash damage
  • Business losses
  • Injuries
  • Loss of a loved one

Owners, tenants, and businesses inside SCE’s eligibility area may qualify. View SCE’s eligibility map.

The decision that matters most

SCE offers two paths. Fast Pay uses a streamlined form and produces an offer quickly. A Detailed Review takes more documentation and analysis, and is meant for claims the quick form doesn’t capture.

Fast Pay can be the right choice. But once you accept and sign, the claim is closed for good.

We review your losses with you and help you decide which path fits before anything is final.

How we help

  1. Review your losses

We go over what you lost and whether the program covers it.
  2. File before November 30

We prepare and submit a complete claim and handle communication with SCE.
  3. Evaluate the offer

When SCE responds, we advise you on accepting it, requesting a Detailed Review, or other options.

Common questions

Does filing a claim give up my rights?

No. SCE states that submitting a claim, receiving an offer, and evaluating an offer do not waive your rights. Signing the settlement agreement does, so get advice before you sign.

I already filed on my own. Can you still help?

Yes. We can review your claim and any offer you received, and advise you on next steps before you accept.

What does it cost to talk to you?

Nothing. The consultation is free. If you hire us, we explain our fee in a written agreement before any work begins.
